ROAD ACCIDENTS IN TANZANIA (PART 2)

If you thought i was done after the first road accidents article your wrong ,am still scribbling it.I still say accidents are saddening in my country, each day i would hear something new , might be a family found beside a ditch or a hit and run. Its crazy sana .
Most accidents i hear lately are from the so called TOYO/BODA BODA ,not a day will pass without the national hospital Muhimbili to receive victims at the MOI ward and all of them are caused by motorbikes..mmmhhhh..

Don't hate me on posting the above photo ,am just trying to be realistic on this matter, trying to show you how bad accidents can be , reminding you to drive safe..OK  lets go on..

Beds at the Muhimbili Orthopedic Institute are getting filled day by day due to road traffic accidents .
According to data provided by Traffic Police Commander Mohammed Mpinga, black spots on the Morogoro-Iringa highway are at Msimba, Mikumi and Mahenge. Most of the accidents taking place on the Morogoro-Chalinze road occur at Masenyu, Ubena and Mdaula, while the Chalinze-Tanga highway has notorious accident black spots at Kwa Mkonga, Kitumbi, Tengwe (near Mkata), Wami Bridge, Mbwewe and Msata.
12,124 accidents took place in Tanzania Mainland in the first six months of this year compared to 11,223 incidents during the same period last year.  A total of 1,764 people were killed, which is an 18 per cent increase on fatalities recorded.
