Dar-es-salaam most dangerous areas

we have heard of crimes taking place in different places,perhaps you may be a victim...the late nights after clubbing and you meet a  gang that definitely squeeze you to a corner and make sure they make you miserable,or for  my fellow friends that loose their wallets and purse everyday just struggling to get transport back home.

we are all not happy on getting robbed or losing the things we most value,today i will try listing down places i think there most dangerous in Dar city and at times we should all get careful when visiting.Prevalent crimes in these areas include carjackings, robberies, rape, assault, burglary, theft and kidnappings.

• Manzese uwanja wa fisi.

Manzese is an administrative ward in the Kinondoni district of the Dar es Salaam Region,main percent of people living in Manzese live in slums,this is where you will find most of illegal stuff...from drugs to guns .Manzese was once said to be the only place in the country where you can find cheap stuff,people living in manzese uwanja wa fisi named it small China.Manzese Ward was among the first areas in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, to implement crime prevention initiatives under the framework of UN-HABITAT’s Safer Cities Programme. Our observasion was due to life being so hard in Manzese most people tend to do illegals inorder for them to get money to feed their families.
Manzese police station leads in receiving daily crime's,may them be petty of big crimes and Prevalent crimes include rape,assault,burglary,theft and kidnapping.  

• Mwananyamala kwa kopa  

Mwananyamala is an administrative ward in the Kinondoni district of the Dar es Salaam Region of Tanzania,perhaps leading in sexual abuse since many cases received by the police are rapes and assault..Mwanayamala is a place what we call Uswahilini,this is where almost every neighbor will know your social life no matter how much you try to hide it..

• Tandale

Tandale is an administrative ward in the Kinondoni district of the Dar es Salaam Region of Tanzania.is another popular slum area where various crimes happen,e.g. robbery,assault,rape,man slaughter and theft.

• Kariakoo

 

Kariakoo is a ward of the Ilala District of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The name derives from a corruption of that of the British "Carrier Corps", that used to be based in this area. Today, Kariakoo is mainly known for its extensive market, that spans several city blocks and contributes substantially to Dar es Salaam's food provision as well as small-scale economy. Until recently Kariakoo was also one of the main daladala "stations" in Dar es Salaam, although this function has now been moved to Ubungo.
well known for people losing their phones and purse,among the leading place with pick pockets and robbers since its a busy place..is one place one should watch out..

• Kinondoni Makaburini

Kinondoni District is the northernmost of three districts in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.The original inhabitants of Kinondoni were the Zaramo and Ndengereko, but due to urbanization the district has become multi-ethnic..in kinondoni robberies happen anytime of the day and its also the leading place in prostitution.
