Meek Mill Signs With Roc Nation Managment

Fresh off the release of his well received "Dream Chasers 2" mixtape, Meek Mill has made a big announcement. The Philly MC has aligned himself with Jay-Z's Roc Nation management.

Meek joins MMG label mate Wale, as well as Rihanna, Shakira, Ester Dean, Melanie Fiona and Santigold as artists managed by Hov's company.
 "Yeah, that’s the new deal I put together. Me coming up in this rap game, I was always an underground artist coming up by myself and making all of the moves by myself. And my manager – he’s just like me, we’ve been coming up in the streets by ourselves. So we just decided to partner up with Roc Nation and take things to another level."

Biggie challenged the Housemates to express how well they know their partners during the late afternoon Task and so far Nafe rules the roost.

Nafe answered all five questions posed to him about his partner Wati correctly as opposed to Lee, Jannette, Ola and Julio.

Hilda was the most dramatic on the hot seat and was in tears as she got ‘electrocuted’ whenever Julio got the answers wrong.

The questions that Biggie asked the partners were; what’s your partner’s shoe size? His/her favourite colour? His/her favourite artist? If your partner won the US$ 300 000, would they invest or spend it? Who or what does your partner dislike in the House?

 

There’s bad vibes between Barbz and Prezzo after he ‘called her names’ late at night and it seems neither of them is willing to submit.

The VIPs were preparing for Biggie’s conundrum Task when Prezzo referred to Barbz as “Miss Mademoiselle” and “Tyra Banks” to which Barbz didn’t take kindly.

The altercation between the two continued and Goldie tried calming Prezzo down after he stormed out of the House to the garden.

“She doesn’t know me, if she pushes me, she’ll see me,” Prezzo told Goldie. He added that the words “sorry” and “I love you” don’t come easy for him so there was no way he would apologize to Barbz. “If it’s US $300 000 she wants, she must talk to me nicely and I’ll hook her up,” he said about Barbz.

Meanwhile, after losing the battle with Prezzo, Goldie rushed upstairs to persuade Barbz but she too would not budge.

“It’s the way he said it,” she said adding that she was upset at first but had gotten over it. “I have no beef and no animosity,” she concluded but insisted that she still wouldn’t apologize to him.

Earlier in the day, Prezzo had mentioned in his Diary session that Barbz thinks she’s above all the girls in Upville. “She’s created a web where she’s capturing all the girls,” he said. Prezzo added that Barbz also keeps looking at herself in the mirror which was a tad bit annoying.

Falcao helps Atletico Madrid win final

Radamel Falcao's golden boot and coach Diego Simeone's tactical nous helped Atletico Madrid secure a second Europa League title in three seasons with a commanding 3-0 win over fellow Spaniards Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday.
Colombian striker Falcao struck two superb goals, having also hit the winner for Porto in the 2011 final before a big-money move to Spain, and Brazilian Diego snapped up a late third as Simoene triumphed over fellow Argentine Marcelo Bielsa.
Falcao, top scorer in the competition for a second straight season, netted a first-half double to put Atletico in control before Diego, who was suspended for the 2009 final when with Werder Bremen, sealed an emphatic win five minutes from time.
"It was a tough match, an extraordinary match, almost perfect," Diego told Spanish television.
Falcao added: "I am grateful for this moment that few players have the chance to experience, grateful to all the team, my colleagues, the coaching staff."
It was fitting reward for Simeone who has revitalised 2010 winners Atletico since taking over in late December at the Calderon, where he became a fan favourite as a player in winning a league and cup double in 1996.
The 42-year-old former Argentina captain also lifted the Uefa Cup as a player with Inter Milan in 1998.

“The Hunger Games”: A Glimpse at the Future?

The hit movie “The Hunger Games” takes place in a dystopian future where the poor and wretched masses live under the high tech tyranny of a wealthy elite. Is the movie depicting the kind of society the elite is trying to establish for the New World Order? We’ll look at characteristics of the world presented in “The Hunger Games” and how they relate to plans for a New World Order.


Pushed by a gigantic marketing campaign, The Hunger Games did not take long to become a world-wide sensation, especially among teenagers and young adults. Sometimes referred to as the new Twilight, The Hunger Games has similar components to the previous book-to-movie craze (i.e. a young girl torn between two guys) but takes place in a very different context.
Set in a dystopian future (why is the future always “dystopian”?), The Hunger Games paints a rather grim picture of the world of tomorrow, whether it be from a social, economical or political point of view. In short, it is a big-brotherish nightmare where a rich elite thrives on the backs of a starving population. Meanwhile, the perversity and voyeurism of mass media is taken to absurd levels and is used by the government as a glue to keep its unjust social order intact. Is The Hunger Games giving teenagers a glimpse of a not-too-distant future? It doesn’t take a crystal ball to see the elite are trying to take the world in that direction. Is the author Suzanne Collins communicating a strong anti-NWO message to the youth by showing its dangers or is it getting the youth used to the idea? Let’s look at the fictional, yet possible, future world of The Hunger Games.
Note: This article is about the movie and not the book series. The movie has been formatted in a different way and conveys a slightly different message.

The NWO for Teenagers

The Hunger Games takes place in a context that is strikingly on-par with descriptions of the New World Order as planned by today’s global elite. One of the main characteristics of the New World Order is the dissolving of regular nation-states to form a single world government to be ruled by a central power. In The Hunger Games, this concept is fully represented as the action takes place in Panem, a totalitarian nation that encompasses the entire North-American territory. The United States and Canada have therefore merged into a single entity, a step that many predict that will happen before the full-on creation of the NWO.

In Panem, the concepts of democracy and freedom have disappeared from America to be replaced by a high-tech dictatorship based on surveillance, monitoring, mass-media indoctrination, police oppression and a radical division of social classes. The vast majority of the citizens of Panem live in third-world country conditions and are constantly subjected poverty, famine and sickness. These difficult living conditions are apparently the result of a devastating event that engendered the complete economic collapse of North America. In District 12, home of the hero Katniss Everdeen, the locals live in conditions similar to the pre-industrial era where families of coal miners lived makeshift in shacks and eat rodents as meals.
While the masses look as if they are living in the 1800s, they are nevertheless subjugated to the high-tech rule of the Capitol, which uses technology to monitor, control and indoctrinate the masses. Surveillance cameras, RFID chips and 3D holograms are abundantly used by the government to manipulate the will of a weak and uneducated population (although there are signs of solidarity and rebelliousness among the peasants). To preserve the fragile social order, the Capitol relies on a massive police force that is always ready repress any kind of uprising. The workers are often rounded up in civilian camps where they are shown state-sponsored propaganda videos. Panem is therefore a high-tech police state ruled by a powerful elite that seeks to keep the masses in poverty and subjugation. As we’ve seen in previous articles on this site, all of these concepts are also thoroughly represented in other forms of media as there appears to be a conscious effort to normalize the ideas of a high-tech police state as the only normal evolution of the current political system.
Living in sharp contrast to the proletariat, the elite in The Hunger Games inhabits the glistening Capitol city and indulges in all sorts of extravagances and fashion trends. This upper-echelon of society perceives the rest of the population as an inferior race to be ridiculed, tamed and controlled. All valuable resources have been vacuumed from the people living in the districts to profit the Capitol, creating a clear and insurmountable divide between Regular People and The Elite. The concept of an opulent elite ruling over the dumbed-down and impoverished masses (thus making them easily manageable) is an important aspect of the New World Order and it is clearly depicted in The Hunger Games. The government’s reliance on high-tech surveillance and mass media to keep the population in check is something we are already seeing and, if we keep going in that direction, the world of The Hunger Games will soon become reality. There is another concept important to the occult elite that is at the heart of The Hunger Games, however: Blood sacrifices to strike fear and gain power.

Arsenal have had a strong end to the season, but have heavily relied on Van Persie’s goals. In summer I fully expect Arsene Wenger to make some key signings to replace the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri who they’ve dearly missed.

Wenger has already secured the signing of Lukas Podolski from Cologne for an undisclosed fee.
Arsene Wenger: “He is a top-class player, a very good finisher and a proven performer at club and international level. He is a very strong player and will provide us with good attacking options.”
The Bundesliga outfit Cologne have officially announced that German striker Lukas Podolski will be joining Arsenal for the 2012/13 season. The announcement of Podolski signing for Arsenal comes just days after another German club, Werder Bremen, broke the news of Marko Marin moving to Arsenal’s London neighbours Chelsea.
Neither Gervinho nor Park Chu-Young have set the stage on fire, meaning that skipper Robin Van Persie has had to labour on his own upfront at the Emirates this season. It looks like he’ll be partnering the Dutch striker up front next season.

Olivier Giroud – Striker (Montpellier)
Arsenal are believed to be chasing Montpellier and France striker Olivier Giroud, 25, who has also caught the eye of Aston Villa, Liverpool and Newcastle United.
Jan Vertonghen – Defender (Ajax)
Arsene Wenger has set his sights on making Ajax midfielder Jan Vertonghen Arsenal’s next signing after unveiling Cologne striker Lukas Podolski. However, they are facing competition from Tottenham Hotspur.

Yann M’Vila – Central Midfielder (Rennes)
Arsenal are reported to be in “advanced negotiations” with French club Rennes over the signature of midfielder Yann M’Vila. It is thought the 21-year-old French international, who has been capped 18 times by his country, could cost around £22m.
However, having recently been arrested for assault on a 17 year old, it looks very unlikely that Arsenal will make a move for the Frenchman.

Clint Dempsey – Attacking Midfielder (Fulham)
Fulham goal ace Clint Dempsey, 29, has refused to rule out a move away from Craven Cottage this summer despite having another year left on his contract. Arsenal are interested.

Eden Hazard – Attacking Midfielder (Lille)
Arsenal are ready to take on Tottenham, Manchester City and United in the race to lure the highly sought-after Eden Hazard away from French club Lille this summer.

Daniel Sturridge – Striker (Chelsea)
Chelsea are targeting Arsenal and England winger Theo Walcott and could be willing to swap him for Stamford Bridge striker Daniel Sturridge. This deal seems very unlikely to me.

Stephane Sessegnon – Attacking Midfielder (Sunderland)
Wenger is also set to go head to head with Paris Saint-Germain over the signing of Sunderland striker Stephane Sessegnon.

Klaas Jan Huntelaar – Striker (Schalke)
Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has put off talks over a new deal until after Euro 2012, alerting Arsenal to the Dutch striker’s possible availability.

Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa – Defender (Montpellier)
Arsene Wenger is keeping tabs on versatile French defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa – the captain of Ligue 1 table-toppers Montpellier.
The 22-year-old France Under-21 international is a capable of playing anywhere across the back line or as a defensive midfielder, and Arsenal boss Wenger is looking to bolster his defensive options, according to the Daily Mirror.
Bas Dost – Striker (SC Heerenveen)
The Gunners have joined the long list of clubs interested in the services of SC Heerenveen striker Bas Dost, 22, who rejected a move to Aston Villa because he will only move to a “big club”. The 22-year-old who has scored 28 goals in just 31 appearances for Heerenveen, he’s currently the top scorer in the Dutch League.
Younes Belhanda – Attacking Midfielder (Montpellier)
Arsene Wenger has also expressed his interest in taking Montpellier’s £15m-rated Moroccan midfielder Younes Belhanda, 22, to the Emirates
Robert Lewandowski- Striker (Borussia Dortmund)
Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, 23, is also being tracked by Arsenal. Lewandowski has scored 20 goals and helped Borussia Dortmund to retain their Bundesliga title.

Nick Powell – Striker (Crewe)
Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea are set for a £1.5m tussle over 18-year-old Crewe midfielder Nick Powell, who has been described as having the potential to be the best ever graduate from the famed Alex academy
Javi Martinez – Attacking Midfielder (Athletic Bilbao)
Arsenal have taken significant steps towards a summer move for Athletic Bilbao’s Javi Martinez, 23, but face a £32m fight with Manchester Untied and Barcelona to land the versatile Spanish international.

Christian Eriksen – Attacking Midfielder (Ajax)
Christian Eriksen burst upon the world stage in the 2010-11 season as sensationally as Jack Wilshere. His connection with Ajax and Dutch football in general means, if signed, he will come to Arsenal well-schooled in Wenger’s preferred style of football.
Forget Eden Hazard, who will cost a fortune. Eriksen will cost less for similar value.

Shinji Kagawa – Midfielder (Borussia Dortmund)
Kagawa was Dortmund’s star in 2010-11 season before being eclipsed by Götze. Although most would consider the latter more skillful, Kagawa isn’t far behind. He is solid in possession, and his vision and reading of the game is very good. He wouldn’t be a bad signing for Arsenal.
Arsene Wenger is said to have turned his sights on Kagawa after it became clear Götze wouldn’t be coming to Arsenal.

Demba Ba 
Demba Ba has a nose for goal despite being overshadowed by countryman Papiss Cissé in recent weeks. His introduction to the Premier League has been remarkable.
He would be a very good signing for Arsenal, who in January were said  to be interested in signing him in the coming summer.

Junior Hoilett
Arsenal are said to have their sight firmly trained on Hoilett, who could bring his salvific touch to the Emirates.
Honestly, I don’t think Arsenal should sign Hoilett, but again, rumors are rumors.

Matias Suarez
Matías Suárez was all the rage in January with reports claiming he had come to an agreement with Arsenal for a move in the summer. He could well be a player that Arsenal look to make a move on in  the next month or so.
