100 black coffins

In one of our previous post we previewed the movie 'Django'. In this post i felt the need to share with you lyrics of the movie sound track goes by the tittle '100 black coffins'. Written by Foxx Jamie /
Roberts himself and Warbled by one of my best rapper Rozay, this is how it flows Collin.

[Intro]

Oooh, now you are one lucky nigga
You gotta listen to your boss white boy
Oh I’m gonna walk in the middle of the night with you
You wanna hold my hand?

[Hook: Rick Ross]
I need a hundred black coffins for a hundred bad men
A hundred black graves so I can lay they ass in
I need a hundred black preachers, with a black sermon to tell
From a hundred black bibles, while we send them all to hell
I need a hundred black coffins, black coffins, black coffins (oh, Lord! )
I need a hundred black coffins, black coffins, black coffins (oh, Lord
Black coffins! (I need a hundred…)

[Verse 1]
I seen a hundred niggas die;
I put that on my life, Lord, I wouldn’t tell a lie
Unless it had to do with mine in the middle of the night
Killers coming for you life, all you wanna do is shine?
I broke off the chains only the realest remain
I see your praying to Jesus, but will that help ease the pain?
Seen a brother get slain for a jar full of change
Yet I post on the block, look like I’m Big Daddy Kane
Is you a cat or a mouse? Keep them rats out the house
A lotta scars on my back, get tattoes all around
Hundred dead bitches, hundred black coffins
Money on his head, bitch, I’m trying to make a fortune

[Hook]
I need a hundred black coffins for a hundred bad men
A hundred black graves so I can lay they ass in
I need a hundred black preachers, with a black sermon to tell
From a hundred black bibles, while we send them all to hell
I need a hundred black coffins, black coffins, black coffins (oh, Lord! )
I need a hundred black coffins, black coffins, black coffins (oh, Lord
Black coffins! (I need a hundred…)

[Verse 2: Rick Ross]
I seen a hundred women burn, as they stood firm
Treat a nigga like a germ, what did she do to deserve?
Put me on the farm
Pigs’ feet in a jar; serve it to me warm
Any questions, they hang ‘em, better pray for Jack Django
Got me working in fields, too many years it gets fatal
All I want is my woman, such a wonderful mother, (mama! )
On the days that it rains, her smile bright like a summer
Our revenge is the sweetest, bitch cause I’m coming
Gonna die in my arms, for what you did to my mother (my mama! )
Hundred dead bitches, (Lord) hundred black coffins (why?)
12th gate, short gun, chest full of carbon (boom-boom)

[Hook]
I need a hundred black coffins for a hundred bad men
A hundred black graves so I can lay they ass in
I need a hundred black preachers, with a black sermon to tell
From a hundred black bibles, while we send them all to hell
I need a hundred black coffins, black coffins, black coffins (oh, Lord! )
I need a hundred black coffins, black coffins, black coffins (oh, Lord
Black coffins! (I need a hundred…)

45 years ago: The death of a King

On the night of April 4, 1968 Martin Luther King was shot and killed . This week marks 45 Years since his death.

It's been 45 years since the assassination of once a civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. On the evening of April 4, 1968, while standing on the balcony of his motel room in Memphis, Tennessee, where he was to lead a protest march in sympathy with striking garbage workers of that city, he was assassinated. James Earl Ray, a segregationist, confessed to the assassination and he was convicted. He died in prison in 1998 while serving a 99-year sentence.

Born as Michael King Jr. on January 15, 1929, Martin Luther King Jr. was the middle child of  Reverend Michael King Sr. and Alberta Williams King. Later on his farther adopted the name Martin Luther King Sr. in honor of the German Protestant religious leader Martin Luther. His son followed naming himself after his farther. King Jr. grew as a christian and later on became pastor of the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama

In his life he became a great man who worked for racial equality and civil rights in the United States of America. Influenced by people like Mahatma Gandhi and Howard Thurman, King participated in various peaceful demonstrations that protested the unfair treatment of African-Americans and initiating various civil rights movement.  His efforts led to the 1963 March on Washington, where he delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech. Here he raised public consciousness of the civil rights movement and established himself as one of the greatest orators in U.S. history. In 1964, King became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to end segregation and racial.

Martin Luther King Jr.'s life had a seismic impact on race relations in the United States. I can describe him as the most widely known African-American leader of his era. His life and work have been honored with a national holiday, schools and public buildings named after him. His teaching and what he believed has also been used in the rest of the world to bring courage minds upon youth and freedom fighters.

Even after 45 years of his death most of us are portraying him as a complex figure: flawed, fallible and limited in his control over the mass movements with which he was associated, yet a visionary leader who was deeply committed to achieving social justice through nonviolent means.

Lets Talk About North Korea

So the biggest news over the world right now is that North Korea wants to wage a war against the USA,or is it against South Korea, am not pretty sure which country they want to take on. Back in Tanzania i can't really give this fuss maximum attention, our problems are just way overwhelming than all this.
Anyways, propaganda news channel CNN just stated that Intercepted communications indicate that North Korea could be planning to launch a mobile ballistic missile in the coming days or weeks, a U.S. official says. But Shouldn't such information be confidential or is the USA department of defense leaking fake information to justify an attack like in Iraq?

I sincerely don't know anything about North Korea, I asked  a certain American blogger to tell me about North Korea and he went on stating  "Most of us are brought up in complete ignorance of what a country like North Korea is capable of. Here we go to school to learn math, history, science, etc. Over there school children are indoctrinated to hate the United States and prepare them for war. Generations of North Koreans have been bombarded with years of propaganda so crazy that most of us would think it unreal. Make no mistake, these people are bent on the destruction of America"

Trying to get perspectives from both sides, I spoke to a certain professor of University of Dar es Salaam who had been recently in South Korea to give me his opinion. Quoting him " The truth is, the South deals with sensitive issues in the North all the time, the difference is the world doesn't take notice. People are unfazed in South Korea, the news reports the facts with no intense commentary nor fear mongering, people continue with their daily lives of drinking coffee and cooking rice and kimchi, and my research colleagues assured me that it was nothing to worry about. Quite honestly the only reason I knew it was a big deal was from people from home asking me if I was OK, it wasn't until I returned home that I realized how big a deal this was.

I'm not an expert, Kim-Jong-Un is new and he is enforcing his power, he and his government are crazy but not stupid, if they were to 'enforce war' on America or South Korea it would be the end of his dictatorship, they would have no negotiations for aid or future power or reconciliation. Chances are they will ask for aid or more powers within the DMZ, they may bomb one of the 3000 islands around Seoul, but a 'war' as is being depicted in the media (in my opinion) is highly unlikely and there are more important issues that could be taken up by this coverage, which as far as I can see is being pushed by the US for whatever reason they have?

But why is the rest of the world so silent about this? Where is the UN in all of this? Why is China so quiet? The whole thing reeks! Either no one is taking him seriously, or something really scary is about to go down and people are scrambling behind the scenes to figure out what to do without rousing the masses.

Change ni mimi, ni wewe.

"We don't know the value of what we have until we loose it" These were the words a friend of mine wrote to me when he WhatsApp me this picture.

What do you see in this picture??
What does the quoted words mean to you??

People are burning churches, Priests and religious leaders are being attacked. Recently one pastor was heard on one of the local Television saying people are now afraid to attend any religious gathering in fear responding to threats against their beliefs. The peace that we had once among Tanzanian is now slowly diminishing. My friend knows if we ever find our self in a situation were one feel unsafe to put down his weapon even for a comfortable hair cut, that's when we would realize the true value of peace we had.

So i urge you my fellow Tanzanian and peace keeper let us do things that are content to one another, actions that will bring peace once again in our society. Change ni mimi, ni wewe.

Swahili Stern dads

Big reason i hate dads with a stern persona is because they are all trying to be like "Dictator Alladeen ",in Africa and especially my country there no rules on how to punish your children, not like other countries  (abroad )where when a parent weep his/her kid the next thing his busted by "five O".
In some point when someone does wrong he/she should be punished, but there must be limit on the punishment ,this other day i heard on a local radio that a woman burned her daughters hands for stealing a piece of curried meat and this are what i call demoniac people.

In my livelihood i came across many sturdy stuff but the worst of it is if i got a dad that is so absolutist,we have this kind of dads in Africa,in my country i once came across such a dad, one! they always have a killer eye,if you really want to to see the killer eye let his children invite you for lunch at their place,he will contemplate every move, wait until it reaches serving time where you all have to take the food of you choice, may you not reach at the curried meat bowl the killer eye is on you.

These dads have egocentric manners ,why i say so is because they always don't share their utensils, may you hold that big mug and the child will say "that's daddy's mug"...seriously??...that much ego they have to extent  they  don't share table knives ,plates and even food,we will all be eating vegetables and beans but he will have a lamb stake for himself as we all froth.

After eating beans and rice this daddy's will always force siesta,it isn't bad at all to have an afternoon nap but may parents do it gently, unlike this the stern Dad's they don't have the gentle in them ,they will always force forty winks with slaps, and abusive word's like "scummiest baboon",don't you know sleeping makes you grow tall?"..who said you get tall within a day,if it is so i could have been hulk.

These kind of fathers are not good at patronizing ,they will always lock the TV and the Cable in their rooms,Come on!!children love cartoons, why lock the TV and bring it out when you want to watch news, when you ask them why they lock the TV they will always say "i want my kids to study" for your information you cant force your kids to study with  locking the set in your room and moreover if you think the kids will get exposed to sexual soaps like "the promise" then get a parental guide cable,or else pay only for a cartoon channel. One thing you should know cartoons make kids cagey  as much as  you dads don't want them but better for the kids!!

One thing not to forget how this fathers can be obnoxious,i have witnessed one having a stroll with her daughter and suddenly the daughter belly flopped ,the next thing the dad did is dropped a slap on the daughters head, "you should learn how to walk witless" he said...How do you slap a young girl for falling,no wonder when they grow up they become crude wives ...i think the best thing is say sorry to the young angle face and lift her up,by doing so you will be building a better mother in future..

April Fools Tricks & Jokes

Many theories exist about how April Fools' Day came about. While the origins of the day remain a mystery, it has long been a tradition to use April 1 as an excuse to play pranks and jokes on family and friends. April Fools' Day pranks can be simple or extremely elaborate.

Quick Pranks and Jokes

Online sites, such as April Fool Zone, have a nearly endless supply of common April Fools' Day pranks. A classic example is to secure a rubber band around the push button of the spray nozzle on a sink. When someone turns on the water, the sprayer will kick out a stream of water at the victim. Another quick idea is to poke small holes in plastic or foam cups. When someone goes for a drink, the liquid will drip out of the holes. Gluing coins or dollar bills to the ground also makes for a laugh.

Elaborate Pranks and Jokes

  • Some people take April Fools' Day pranks to the extreme. In 1998, Burger King bought a full-page ad in "USA Today" announcing the company would offer a "left-handed Whopper." The ad claimed the burger would have condiments shifted 180 degrees to help left-handed people eat it easier. In 1981, the "Herald-News" in Roscommon, Michigan ran a story purporting that 2,000 sharks had been introduced into northern Michigan lakes. It was not true, but the newspaper received many letters from people who were angry about the sharks.

Computer Pranks and Jokes

Computers present a modern opportunity to have a little fun with someone. Consider switching a few keys on a keyboard, or removing the batteries from a wireless mouse. You can also use inspiration from the classic prank of wrapping a person's desk in aluminum foil, and instead use clear plastic wrap to cover a person's monitor, keyboard and mouse. Use multiple layers to make the prank last a bit longer.

Office Pranks and Jokes

  • Office workers are prime targets for their co-workers on April Fools' Day. Classic office pranks include switching drawers in desks, changing the height on all the office chairs, hiding all the pens in the office and taping down the hook on a co-worker's phone so it keeps ringing when picked up.
