BODA BODA GOOOO....(very dangerous)

 pppppprrrrrrrnnnnnhhhh.......boda boda gooo....hahahaha...i tend to love this name...for those who do not know what is a boda boda please follow me and get to know..Boda-boda (or bodaboda) also known as a Poda-Poda in some parts of Africa is a bicycle taxi or motor bike.The boda-boda taxis are part of the Africa bicycle culture; they started in the 1960s and 1970s and are still spreading from their origin on the Kenya - Tanzania -Uganda border to other regions. The name originated from a need to transport people across the "no-mans-land" between the border posts without the paperwork involved with using motor vehicles crossing the international border.

many people think that boda boda are only the motor bikes but the bicycle taxis are also known as boda boda ...
have a look at the image on your left thats a bicycle taxi...its one of major transport in countries like Uganda,Tanzania and Kenya...on my opinion this is a dangerous mean of transport.




Boda Boda are the fastest means of transport ,you can reach your destination on time but there the most dangerous things i have seen,i have witness several accidents that scare me to death.

look at the risk this man is taking ,carrying children and taking them to school,carrying more than three children ,what do you think will happen if they get an accident.

this s what will happen next,it has been a major problem now in Tanzania and other parts of Africa ...many youth are driving boda bodas as part of there employment ,some only learn how to ride them in two weeks and after they will be on the road.Some drivers use drugs and alcohol ,this also is a cause of many accidents.

some times i blame the boda boda drivers of their carelessness.Its true there big part of this accidents but also we have insane car drivers who cause these accidents on purpose...pretending there in a hurry..the car driver was drunk ,his body was fuming alcohol,in a second i thought i was in a brew industry.he caused the accident.he killed the innocent child...

Dozens of dead Ethiopian immigrants were dumped on the side of a road in Tanzania after suffocating in a container truck along with many others who survived, in the second fatal human trafficking incident in the country this year.
Up to 45 bodies were dumped along a busy forest highway on Tuesday, and a further 72 were found alive and taken to hospital.
“I haven’t seen anything like this … There were so many bodies lined up along the road. People in passing vehicles were shocked at the sight,” said Dodoma resident Fatuma Amir.
“When the driver discovered that there were people dying, he decided to throw them in the forest and run away with his vehicle,” deputy home affairs minister Pereira Ame Silima said.
Residents in central Dodoma were the first to report the deaths because of a foul smell. The deceased were taken to the hospital in Dodoma city.
“It is extremely sad and unfortunate that people die by using wrong and self-torturing means to illegally transport themselves to other destinations,” Silima said.
Survivors told officers that while they were locked inside the vehicle they had screamed to the driver to stop after several people passed out due to the lack of air, said police chief Zelothe Stephen.
When the driver finally stopped, he ordered the migrants to dump the corpses and clean the truck, but then sped off leaving the Ethiopians behind in a remote area.
“A manhunt is going on for the driver of the lorry that abandoned the Ethiopian immigrants by the roadside,” said Luppy Kung’alo, a Tanzanian police spokesman.
The east African country is a major transit route for migrants, used by smugglers to ferry Somalis and Ethiopians to Europe, and as believed in this case, South Africa.
The truck was probably on its way to the south-western border with Zambia and Malawi, officials said. Illegal immigrants are often smuggled by truckers from Tanzania’s commercial capital Dar es Salaam to border towns.
Many immigrants pay agents between $3,000 and $4,000 to reach South Africa. The illegal trip passes through Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi or Zambia, Zimbabwe or Botswana and then into South Africa. The shipping containers that the immigrants are crammed into can be changed several times before reaching South Africa.
In January, 20 Somali migrants suffocated to death as they were being smuggled in a cramped container truck through Tanzania. Their bodies were similarly dumped on the road.
At least 47 people thought to be illegal migrants from east Africa died when their boat capsized in a lake in neighboring Malawi last Friday.
Hundreds of thousands of Somalis have fled the lawless Horn of Africa country since the collapse of a formal government two decades ago, while crippling drought hit both Somalia and Ethiopia last year.

If I could, I would cuddle them all, wrap them in my arms, let them cry on my chest, rock them to sleep, be there when they wake up in the night screaming, and wipe their tears away, but I can't... not alone. I can only pray that others are as outraged as me and that God's love will echo through my cries for their safety and restoration.. It was never intended for children to be held in captivity... WHY MUST THE CHILDREN SUFFER!!! God, I'm so pissed... oh and by the way, any MONSTROUS MUTANTS-OF-HUMANS who ever has, is or ever will lay their hands of these children... Aliongeza kuwa Dkt Ulimboka alidai kuwa wakati akiwa katika halimbaya alikuwa akisikia mazungumzo yao, wakibishana juu ya kumuua wengine wakisisitiza achomwe sindano, na wengine wakitaka kumpiga risasi.

Alisema wakati mabishano yakiendelea kati yao, Dkt Ulimboka aliinuka akiwa na lengo la kukimbia lakini watu hao walipiga risasi hewani iliyomshtua na kuangua chini.

Kwa upande wake Dkt Cathbeth Mcharo ambaye ndiye aliyempokea Dkt Ulimboka Hospitalini hapo, alisema kuwa hali yake ni mbaya na kwamba wanajitahidi kumpatia huduma za haraka.

Alisema kuwa kwa hatua za awali amefanyiwa vipimo mbalimbali, hili iweze kufahamika aina ya matibabu anayotakiwa kupatiwa.

UN turns players into refugees in a new app..

The UN refugee agency has released a smartphone game, aimed at raising awareness about the experiences of refugees around the world. "My life as a refugee" takes players into a scenario of fleeing conflicts and searching for family members. The UNHCR says it is based on the real-life accounts of refugees. One analyst said the title was unlikely to have the mass appeal of games like Angry Birds, but should still find an audience.

In the description of the game on its website, the UNHCR says it: "brings to life the refugee experience and highlights some of the life-changing decisions and consequences faced by millions of refugees worldwide." By turning players into virtual refugees fleeing persecution or armed conflicts, the app takes them through a series of challenges - "true-to-life quests" while trying to find their families and reach safety. According to the world body, the game was developed to "entertain and educate players with interactive narratives based on real-life experiences of families torn apart by conflict or persecution". But the main challenge for the refugee agency is to make people aware that such an app actually exists, says Jack Kent, a senior analyst from IHS Screen Digest, a firm that analyses trends in digital media. "This game is not designed to compete with high-profile games such as Angry Birds or [titles by] Zynga, it is one of those educational apps, but for it to generate awareness about the subject, its developers should promote it the right way, " Mr Kent told the BBC. "So the biggest challenge is promoting it through schools, getting teachers on board, and getting users to share it once they know about it." The BBC was unable to reach UNHCR for comment. For now, the app is available on Android phones, but an iPhone version is to come out in the near future.

I keep on asking myself is it ignorance?why should somebody raise a hand and kill an innocent person,in mind having stupid beliefs that their body parts are very worthy, the so called business of selling Albino body parts is rapidly increasing secretly...we all thought this ended but secretly its rapidly increasing around Tanzania,Burundi,Namibia and several places in Africa.
The recent discovery of a badly mutilated body of a person with albinism (PWA) at Nambala Village in Kikwe Ward, Arumeru District, has created fear and dismay among the community in Arusha Region.

The body, which was discovered on 26th May 2012 by children was badly mutilated and left without clothes on, on a stone in the middle river Nambala.

Narrating the sad story, Jeremiah Thomas Ayo (59) who is the Mbughuni Ward Educational Officer and lives near the scene of the crime, says it was a strong smell, which raised the alarm that there was something wrong somewhere. “There was this pungent smell similar to that of a dead animal for about five to seven days before the body was discovered. At first I thought it was a dog or one of my animals,” says Ayo.

On 26th May before going to work he instructed his children and a worker that they should not rest until they found where the smell that made them uncomfortable originated.

The shocked children called him on the phone to inform him that they had found a body in the nearby spring river of Nambala.

Ayo went to the scene where he saw the naked mutilated body of a man aged between 25 and 30 with many of his organs missing. "There were no ears, the skin on his face had been peeled off, his hair shaved; arms hacked off, the tongue and the front part of his neck had been removed.

“Large parts of his bottoms and genitals had been chopped off. His trousers were pulled down to his ankles. The body was placed on a stone face down." Ayo narrated to the shocked UTSS staff, the Arumeru, District Commissioner, one Nyerembe, Police Officer and the Tanzania Albino Society (TAS) members who visited the scene of the crime.

Burundi police  arrested three persons accused of involvement in the killing of a 15-year-old albino girl on May 6 at Kabezi, some 20 km south of the Burundian capital Bujumbura, the national police spokesman told Xinhua on Wednesday.

"Thanks to the good collaboration with the population, police arrested the three suspects yesterday (Tuesday) at Ruziba in Kabezi's neighboring commune of Kanyosha," said police spokesman Elie Bizindavyi.

According to Bizindavyi, taking the three suspects to police custody "was not easy" because furious residents at Ruziba wanted to kill them. "The police managed however managed to put them in custody," said the police spokesman, who praised "justice officials and police agents [who] did a great job."

The Burundi-based Association of Albinos Without Frontiers (ASF) said that the murdered albino girl was the 18th albino killed since the hunt against albinos a couple of years ago. Body parts of albinos are reportedly used for witchcraft purposes.
This are recently crime scenes,i smell the rise of  albino killings,i thought the killings had stopped...it was a hunch and a very wrong one..

International Help
There is a UN Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, (“the Trafficking in Persons Protocol”) signed in the year 2000.10 This is the Protocol that comes close to covering trafficking in human organs.

Article 3 (a) of the protocol defines Trafficking in Persons as the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, by means of the threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation.

Exploitation shall include, at a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labour or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs.

In essence the protocol prevents human trafficking in the event that the victim is alive and the purpose of movement of that victim is to remove body parts. The protocol does not cover the issue of movement of body parts that have been removed without any of the coercive elements above.11 It is this gap in this international protocol that calls for stronger responses to muti from governments at the national level.

I think its high time we hold hands ,like the picture indicates above...lets help our brothers and sisters..lets report the crime and stop the killing.

Lauryn Hill In Trouble With The IRS. Could Face Up To 3 Years In Prison And A $300,000 Fine

Gambia has arrived in Dar ready for the Game...

The team will hold a training session in the morning and evening at the National Stadium according to Kim Poulsen's programme, while the visitors Gambia are expected to train on Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Hq grounds.

John Travolta Had Gay Relationship With His Pilot For Six Years, Former Assistant Claims

 In a move that could add credence to the sexual harassment charges facing John Travolta, the "Pulp Fiction" star's long-time assistant has come forward with claims the actor is not only gay, but was also in a relationship with another man for six years.
RadarOnline cites a National Enquirer interview with Joan Edwards, credited by IMDb as having served as Travolta's assistant on films like "Urban Cowboy" and "Look Who's Talking" from 1978 to 1994, who claims that the actor and a male pilot named Doug Gotterba were lovers in the 1980s.
“I did everything for him, including taking care of his personal and professional schedules," Edwards is quoted by the Enquirer as saying. "Of course I knew he was gay. It never bothered me."
Of Travolta's alleged affair with Gotterba, who reportedly began working for the actor in 1981, Edwards added, "We both worked for John at the same time. Doug is a wonderful guy and we are still good friends. He told me that John was gay and they had a sexual relationship."
The publication also quotes Robert Britz, identified as Gotterba's post-Travolta boyfriend, who shed additional light on the alleged relationship:

"Doug told me right at the beginning of our relationship that he'd had a homosexual relationship with John Travolta in the 1980s. Doug said John was constantly grabbing at his genital area, but he put up with John's sexual advances because working for him was 'lucrative.' I personally saw about two minutes of Doug's home video showing John Travolta sitting at the end of a bed with his shirt off. There were plates of food in front of him. The video appeared to be shot in a hotel room. Doug made it clear that it was very lucrative for him to be what he called John's 'personal right hand man' and homosexual partner."

Britz also adds that Gotterba eventually became turned off by John's "hairy body," as well as the actor's weight gain in between film projects.

Among those to jump to the defense of Travolta was his long-time friend supermodel Janice Dickinson. After noting that she "worships" the "iconic" star, Dickinson told RadarOnline: "If some queens took something the wrong way in a massage parlor, then that’s their f*cking fault!"
She then added, somewhat quizzically: "If you want to f*ck a chicken, go f*ck a chicken."
As HuffPost Celebrity reported last week, Travolta -- who has been otherwise tight-lipped about the scandal in recent weeks -- is currently the most sought-after star interview among top TV journalists including Diane Sawyer, Katie Couric and Matt Lauer.
"John is literally the most wanted person in the world right now,” one top TV executive is quoted as saying. “Everyone wants him, and he can literally pick who he wants to sit down with, if he decides to ever tell his side of the story at all."

Brazil 0-2 Mexico: Dos Santos and Hernandez on target against youthful Selecao

Mexico ended a run of eight consecutive friendly wins for Brazil with a famous 2-0 victory at Cowboys Stadium.Giovani Dos Santos opened the scoring against what is believed to be the Brazilian side the at will start this summer's Olympic Games with a fortuitous chip. Pablo Berrera's raking 40-yard pass switched the play to Dos Santos on the left of the box where he was stood up by Danilo. He worked a yard of space to clip the ball towards the back post which it ended up bouncing off of and into the net. La Verde were in the ascendancy as they continued to threaten on the counterattack and they earned a penalty soon after. After stray pass in the area Juan was overzealous in his attempts to retrieve the ball and he brought Dos Santos down. Hernandez stepped up and converted from 12 yards to double his side's lead in the 33rd minute. Brazil had little to show for all their possession due to some good pressing and Jose Corona was forced into his first save just three minutes before the break. Oscar's swerving 25-yard strike was heading for the top corner but the keeper dived to his left and parried the effort away. Mexico continued to impress with their high pressing and they forced another error at the back. A misplaced pass was pounced upon by Jorge Torres but Sandro got back to make a fantastic block on Jesus Zavala's shot, with Hernandez was unable to poke in the rebound. In an attempt to add more attacking guile to his side Menezes brought Alexandre Pato and Lucas Moura on to replace Leandro Damiao and Sandro. However, La Verde remained resilient in defence and a deflected volley from Lucas and a stinging long-range free kick from Hulk were the only threats provided by Brazil. They continued to gain momentum and after Juan saw his 74th-minute volley saved by Corona, Rafael diverted Hernandez's effort away from goal after another break. The action continued as Hulk found space on the left and put it on a plate for Pato to tap in but his connection was awful as he failed to convert. Clear-cut chances remained elusive and Brazil will now look towards next week's friendly against Lionel Messi's Argentina as their last friendly while Mexico will begin the 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign on the same weekend.
