WHERE ARE THE LAUGHS..

Everyone loves to laugh,am scribbling this article and am quit sure you will love it,Is it only me or probably you think the same? What are comedy Directors doing ?where are all the laughs we used to giggle and chuckle, why direct a comedy movie and put more of offensive things than the laughs.what would my young brothers and sisters laugh on,from the movies to the cartoons we cant laugh on any right now .Its disappointing , how my cousin sister can stare at the HD screen and force a smile on her face pretending she enjoys. Chris Columbus where are your moments ,moments where i would laugh my heart out watching the HOME ALONE..hahahaha just the name would remind me of the moments..OOhh John Hughes i can remember how those freaks  where punished with a small baby on BABY'S DAY OUT,everyone would laugh while watching that movie.People like Cosby ,Bill Cosby do something to bring back the laughs ,don't be like Will Smith from cool FResh prince to no more real comedy  (Man in Black).

Classic comedy above there...We need to laugh ,Director be fare to our kids ,Direct something that will make them really laugh and teach them to be brave..i will congratulate Chris Miller for Puss in Boots ,Eric Darnell for Madagascar 3and the rest who are trying to make us smile.

how well do you know Steve Urkel ?how many times did he make you laugh,i think you are getting my point now,we miss people like him, people with great comedy not fake comedy,I start to think we no longer have people like him.
Below is a bit of a list of movies and directors who  make me laugh ,oldies and present .
  • Family matters -William Bickley
  • Baby days out - John Hughes
  • Home alone-Chris Columbus
  • The Three Stoogies

Facebook's £100m Loss...

This afternoon i get to watch Sky News ,i love the Olympic reports and the opening, lets leave that since its not the essence of this article.Facebook..I have your attention now, don’t I?  Could you BE any more of a pervert?I have a habit of turning on the television and then doing something else.Sky's technology correspondent Katie Stallard caught my attention ."Facebook has announced a net loss of $157m (£100m) in its first earnings report since becoming a public company." What? OK..shocking anyway i had to listen to understand hoping the handsome nerd Mark Zuckerberg isn't really getting a loss?lets hope this is the end of Facebook, then perhaps my staff will do some WORK for a change and stop staring at the computer as if they are working hard on something or writing a report.

Facebook shares were down nearly 10% at one point in after-hours trading on the Nasdaq - hitting a record low of just $24 (£15).
That is a far cry from the initial public offering (IPO) of $38 (£24).
The company said the net loss was equivalent to eight cents per share between April and June, mainly due to stock compensation expenses following its initial public offering.
That compares with earnings of $240m (£153m), or 11c per share, in the second quarter a year ago.
Sky's technology correspondent Katie Stallard said: "This quarter they have had to pay off all of the early investors, so they were actually expecting a possibly more than $600m (£382m) loss. So, although it's a loss, it's quite substantially better than they were expecting."
Although Facebook made a loss, the company's reported revenue has grown 32% to $1.18bn (£750m), up from $895m (£570m) a year ago.

seriously a loss?
Analysts had expected slightly lower revenue of $1.16bn (£739,000). Adjusted earnings of $295m (£188m), or 12c per share, matched Wall Street's expectations.
In a statement after the loss was announced, Facebook founder and chief executive Mark Zuckerberg said: "Our goal is to help every person stay connected and every product they use be a great social experience.
"That's why we're so focused on investing in our priorities of mobile, platform and social ads to help people have these experiences with their friends."
The results come two months after Facebook shares stiffed on their first day of trading, ending flat.
The much-hyped stock market flotation of the world's biggest social network ended with the stock closing with a fractional gain of just 0.97% at $38.37 (£24.19).
It has not reached that level since then.

CAN YOU GET MALARIA FROM THE SUN???

I can never stop hating or talking about this crazy devilish killing disease ,The above clip is among commercials that i love ,its not too long that it would bore someone ,its simple, with straight Swahili and can be understandable..Can we get Malaria from the sun?? funny right? My entire life strolling on my elevens down the street under the sun i have never got malaria out of it.
This commercial portrays how people from Tanzania rural areas are not well educated on this epic killing disease called Malaria.
Big secret of malaria eviction is using examples portrayed on the clip above, using a Chandarua (net)It reminds me when i had a trip to my home town Kigoma last summer ,thinking i was Johny Quest on that adventure, every house i did visit at the village non had a mosquito net,To ask why was that ,many could say they cant use a net because they feel hot at night when they use one.
some even had superstition beliefs and others used the net to cover their livestock.
Illiterate i would say ,still much education is needed.SOS...several campaigns are annually brought in my country but who benefits from them really ?? Is it the citizen who are suffering or the vagabond leaders who write fake reports to earn money from the campaigns?
definitely we cant get Malaria from the sun ,its transmitted through Anopheles Mosquitoes.Do you want to know what the late Dr.Ronald Ross did for Malaria??

To be continued ...relax ..we will help each other to stop Malaria
      Malaria haikubaliki
thanks to Aggrey and Clifford ,PSI for the ads.

Habits of Highly Effective Humans

My friend Mandy says self-help books are probably the most counter-productive form of literature after the scribbling on bathroom walls. I think scribbling on bathroom walls is extremely useful otherwise I wouldn’t have spent so much time doing it in school. But I understand where she is coming from. Speaking as a self-help aficionado I have to say there are some things which are not planetary sensitive. One of the books which stands-out in this sector is Stephen Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. It contains gems like be proactive, begin with the end in mind, schedule, seek victory for all parties involved, understand then be understood, synergize and practice. All of these seven tips are highly valid and very useful in a world where everybody is honest and looking to help each other. Maybe people on Pluto behave like that, but this is Earth where mankind lives and we don’t do any of that. So I am giving you some tips on how to survive humanity.
First of all, be selfish. We learn to “give” as children and others learn to “take”. Those who learn how to take become even more effective at it than the givers. This is a cycle which will continue for the rest of your life if you do not put a stop to it early. If you have luxuries in your life made of your own sweat, you are under no obligation to “share” with anyone who is not a genetic by-product of yours or your father’s sexual escapades.
Secondly, never tell people what you are thinking. People are psychologically incapable of keeping secrets. So be weary of those constantly asking your opinion on things which are not yours to opinionate on. For example, what your boss does over the weekend with their personal assistant in a private hotel room has nothing to do with you, unless you have been invited to join in.
MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS! Stare at your monitor and do your job.  Pay your rent, put food on the table and go to the gym once in a while. Grab a drink with your kin and do some socializing. But NEVER get involved in anyone else’s life unless you have entered a contractual agreement to do so (verbal contracts count so watch it with the promises).
TRUST NO ONE!  “The devil never uses your enemies to get to you, he uses your friends”. This advice was given as proof that I was in a kind of religious school in primary and that “letting people in” on anything in your life is the quickest way to lose it. The only people who have any business knowing how much you earn, how to do your job, what your techniques are and even what you have for lunch are people who share your last name in direct blood lineage. Remember, it was Merlin who first taught Morgan Le Fay how to trap people in rocks and he ended up in one himself.
Finally, emotions are things you share with the people you have breakfast with at home while morning cartoons are on. They have no business in a boardroom or on barstools. You should be as publically unreadable as an ancient Aramaic manuscript. Save your dislike of the government, your paycheck and people in your life for the punching bag at the gym. If you are asking why then please return to the top of this article and start again.

GRATITUDES TO MY MENTOR...

I know plenty of people who  only read the small parts on newspapers ,someone will buy a Daily news paper to only read the heading,it reminds me when i was in secondary school,  I spent hours sniffing text books where i had this stingy lady teacher of mine who used to teach me Literature ,she always insisted of us never being lazy.. in my school life i used to enjoy reading books ,but i never liked how offensive my teacher could be,how she used to call me every time, shouting my name in class Issah do this and that, how she made my butts red by whipping me.Some would never understand why i transformed my blog theme from crazy news and gossip center to a real deal..for those who like reading can understand what i mean, but for lazy Jack would sleep while reading the first paragraph.
But my self esteem issues are not the highlight of this. For the out most part i wouldn't congratulate Mama Mgaya my Literature teacher cause she did not do much of the work ,i would rather give all the gratitude to my biggest mentor that i am sure some are also inspired by him..you will only know my mentor if you are a fun of reading and essay writing . i know very few ..but its not late try atleast 4 chapters a day..you can start from there...lets get to know my mentor..

Arthur Asher Miller (October 17, 1915 – February 10, 2005) was an American playwright and essayist. He was a prominent figure in American theatre, writing dramas that include plays such as All My Sons (1947), Death of a Salesman (1949), The Crucible (1953), and A View from the Bridge (one-act, 1955; revised two-act, 1956).
Miller was often in the public eye, particularly during the late 1940s, 1950s and early 1960s, a period during which he testified before the House Un-American Activities Committee, received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Prince of Asturias Award, and was married to Marilyn Monroe.

Miller's career as a writer spanned over seven decades, and at the time of his death, Miller was considered to be one of the greatest dramatists of the twentieth century. After his death, many respected actors, directors, and producers paid tribute to Miller, some calling him the last great practitioner of the American stage, and Broadway theatres darkened their lights in a show of respect. Miller's alma mater, the University of Michigan opened the Arthur Miller Theatre in March, 2007. As per his express wish, it is the only theatre in the world that bears Miller's name.
Christopher Bigsby wrote Arthur Miller: The Definitive Biography based on boxes of papers Miller made available to him before his death in 2005. The book was published in November 2008, and is reported to reveal unpublished works in which Miller "bitterly attack[ed] the injustices of American racism long before it was taken up by the civil rights movement".
Miller's papers are housed at the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center at The University of Texas at Austin.

                                                     MY FAVORITE BOOKS

MY FAVORITE QUOTES FROM ARTHUR
  • I cannot sleep for dreaming; I cannot dream but I wake and walk about the house as though I'd find you coming through some door.
  • I think it's a mistake to ever look for hope outside of one's self.
  • If I have any justification for having lived it's simply, I'm nothing but faults, failures and so on, but I have tried to make a good pair of shoes. There's some value in that.
  • Don't be seduced into thinking that that which does not make a profit is without value.
  • Betrayal is the only truth that sticks.
I am on Focus 5th chapter sniffing into my nerves ..i wonder what feelings he had while writing this books ,no offense their ill ..they would tend me to kill my TV series dose..i see its a battle now..

FALL OF MUSIC SENSE...

In the year 2000, mankind suffered a great blow. We actually woke up New Year’s morning after an apocalyptic party on New Year’s Eve 1999 even though some joker told us that technology would fail due to a design error in the system clocks. It is in this era of failed apocalypses that Lil Jon, a hype man, finally began to look seriously at becoming more than just music peddler Jermaine Dupri and his So So Def Records. He started work on his own musical career.
However his music was just him and his friends yelling at a microphone and the public was not prepared for this. They tuned out and turned off. But he kept at it, working the mix just right and his statistics grew and grew and he hit gold sales in 2002 with Put Yo Hood Up, platinum in 2002 with Kings of Crunk. But in 2004, Jon hit the big time; that light bulb went on above his head. “Merge what I do with what THEY like”, he must have thought. In this year Crunk Juice was released and it went large. It featured the likes of Usher, R.Kelly, Pharelle Williams, Ice Cube and many other incredible names. This was a combination of the type of music people were used to with a hard core crazy and drunk (crunk) beat.
He was the first one. The first hammer in the coffin of musical sanity as we know it because for hours people bounced around in clubs shaking their heads like they had epilepsy to the beats. Jon was for all intents and purposes, the first one. He opened the door that others followed through. From then on music began to devolve into random noises backed up by a symphony.
Fast forward to today and we have dozens of hype men purporting themselves as musicians even though any computer with Sony Acid Music Studio can create what they do.

Gone is the era of vocals which moved one to the point of tears like only a good shot of Whitney Huston or Mariah Carey could. Now it is all about parties, dances and drinking.
Look at some of the “big names today” in the music scene.

                                                               is this music??
                                                                          noise..
But I will be honest with you, maybe the music isn’t completely as far out as I say. Maybe the real problem here is that I am tired of going to clubs and being expected to do some “Hot New Dance” every week. It seems like these days listening to music has gone beyond keeping up with the fashion trends (LMFAO, not even if a divine entity ordered me to would I dress like that in public) but it is now also about dancing and drinking habits.Below is what i call a good touch of music ,easy rap and enjoyable.
Classics:
                                                              Busta and Mariah...
                                                                 Brandy and Monica
                                                                    Nelly and Kelly(Dilema)

PEDOPHILES ON FACEBOOK....

This is sad ,i love social networks ,computer has always been a close friend  ,Facebook my communication area.Millions of people in my country use Facebook ,there is no age limit on this site..i remember seeing my little brother busy signing up for a new account,i had to take an action of stopping him.All that isn't really all i want to share with you ,today i have a sad story ,this is based on a real event that happened to my neighbor.
she always bragged to me that she got a Nigerian friend on Facebook that they keep on chatting and talk all night,i remember her telling me "he is so sweet,i have never seen such a guy."what a gentleman". Its time i had to ask her how well he knew this guy ,i couldn't believe what she said "only been three weeks."i wondered if this guy was a Guru cause my neighbor kept talking about him like they grew up together.
My neighbor is only sixteen years old ,and we were to celebrate her birthday very soon ,while i was thinking on a present to impress her ,here she comes panting and telling me the Nigerian friend will be coming for her Birthday next week.
The day arrived where we were all celebrating ,i remember seeing Annette nervous and sad ,the guy never showed up at the party and she had no idea if the guy arrived. After the party everybody left ,suddenly she gets a phone call and she picks it up and later tells me she was going to leave and go meet this guy in town.
She never came back at home that night, the following day we had to report to the police ,nobody knew where she went ,but at least i had a clue..
It was a Monday,i got a phone call while i was at work ,it was her giggling and i noticed she was in pain ,i followed her directions and reached where she was..
She was in a bad shape ,i couldn't believe when she told me the guy she thought was hot and young was wrong it was a pedophile..she got sexually abused by the old man ..i remember her telling me ,tears were dripping from my eyes..
Facebook a site that people are abusing it , a creation to help people socialize but now it has become An Internet pedophile ring, where young girls and boys get spoil ,people fake their I.D ,what happened to Annette is unforgettable .
Annette later on got ST D's that she suffers until now..

Children should be able to use the Internet safely, without fear of being approached or groomed by these online predators.
Facebook Pedophile Wants to Fuck Babies
We can all recall how Hollie Steel was targeted by pedophiles using her Facebook page,Hollie, 11, was sent a series of sick messages by men since appearing on the UK TV contest Britain's Got Talent.
Hollie Steel
Hollie Steel
Right now this is so common ,Many young boys and girls get disgusting messages on Facebook from Pedophiles.
Something should be done to stop pedophiles ,they are destroying our young brothers and sisters.. Pedophiles is ENORMOUS!Mostly old guys from the western countries coming here to my country destroying these children! I have no sympathy for this.
I do not allow my young sister and brother to use the internet alone..what do you do??

the name Annette isn't really her real name.

MOVIE SPICES...

Its bizarre how the most important people on movie industry cant get very popular,i know you are confused right now.I dont mean Actors ,Actress,Directors or Producers. I am a good fun of movies ,i would watch plenty of them in a day ,especially on a Sunday ,many people watch movies to the end but many never pay attention on the Credits..Credits ..credits..i will be bored and not satisfied if i don't get to see the credits.
For those that had a chance to watch movies like Immortals (2011) ,Bram Stoker's Dracula(1992),Mirror Mirror(2012),The Fall (2006) and read the credits very well am sure you came across this name Eiko Ishioka (my her soul rest in peace) she is among the strongest and creative women i have always admired .Couple of times i ask my lads if they know this powerful name in the Art industry but non had the idea.I found it funny how people who spice up movies don't get very popular like the actors.

Eiko Ishioka , July 12, 1938, Tokyo – January 21, 2012, Tokyo) was an Oscar-winning costume designer, known for her work in stage, screen, advertising, and print media, and has been called "Japan’s leading art director and graphic designer."
Ishioka's work is included in the permanent collection of museums throughout the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York. In 1999 she designed costumes for Richard Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen at the Dutch Opera. She designed costumes for Cirque du Soleil: Varekai, which premiered in 2002, as well as Julie Taymor's Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, which premiered in 2011.
She also directed the music video for Björk's "Cocoon" in 2002, and designed costumes for the "Hurricane" tour of singer Grace Jones in 2009.
Ishioka was the costume designer for the Beijing-2008 Olympics.
In addition to her Oscar-winning work on Bram Stoker's Dracula, Ishioka has designed costumes for all of Tarsem Singh's films, including The Cell.
Eiko was discovered by Tsuji Masuda who created Parco Ikebukuro from the ailing Marubutsu Department Store. When Parco did well and expanded to a Shibuya location in 1973, Eiko designed Parco Shibuya's first 15 second commercial for the grand opening with "a tall, thin black woman, dressed in a black bikini, dancing with a very small man in a Santa Claus outfit." She became deeply involved in Parco's image. Her last Parco campaign involved Faye Dunaway as "face of Parco" wearing black, on a black chair against a black wall, and peeling and eating an egg in one minute as "a film for Parco."

Awards:
Ishioka's awards include the 1985 Cannes Film Festival Award for Artistic Contribution for her production design of Paul Schrader’s film Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters, a 1987 Grammy Award for the artwork for Miles Davis' album Tutu, two 1988 Tony Award nominations for the stage and costume design of the Broadway play M. Butterfly, and a 1992 Academy Award for Best Costume Design for Bram Stoker's Dracula. In 1992 she was selected to be a member of the New York Art Directors Club Hall of Fame.

CONDOM SHOPPERS (A.ONYANGO)...

When I was younger I believed that sex was a clandestine act and the purchase of material in reference to it should be treated the same way. I recall buying my first pack in my mid-teen years. I bought them from a neighborhood kiosk named after the man who owned it. I had never bought them before and I had a very strong sense of shame when it came to sex and its affiliate topics.
Imagine me standing there behind a crowd of people buying sensible things like eggs and maize meal, waiting for the crowd to disperse. As soon as everyone was done, I stepped up like a secret agent about to trade important information with a fellow agent. If I had a mask I would have worn it but back then the most I could muster was a hooded jacket. So I leaned in and asked the shopkeeper for a pack of Trust condoms because all the adverts on television said “Maisha iko sawa na Trust” (Life is safe with Trust).
The shop- keeper then disappeared behind the counter for thirty seconds and came up with a packet of the infamous product. He looked left and right, to make sure no one was there, then grabbed some newspaper off the counter and proceeded to gift wrap the pack in it. Why? I suppose for the same reason most wines and spirits are sold in the same fashion; people are not supposed to know what it is even though the shape of the product under the newspaper gives it away.
He then slid the pack to me, like a CIA handler passing a note to an agent, careful to keep his palm over it until it was in safe distance for me to pick it up. Then he lifted his hand and I put my palm over it and pulled it to me before picking it up off the counter and putting it in my pocket. Then I gave him his ten shillings (yes, it was that cheap) and bid him thanks with a nod. I would like to note that the whole time this interaction took place, we did not make eye contact.
Fast forward to 2011 and I have gotten much more confident in how I purchase condoms. Recently, I walked into a pharmacy at the Uchumi Hyper on Langata Road. I was prompted to go to the pharmacy because I could not find them at the check-out counter where they are in most supermarkets. I looked over the brands and their aesthetically pleasing packages, taking my time to stop and read information on the boxes, while the lovely young lady behind the counter was giving me a look that said “This isn’t a library”. Eventually I found one that I liked and we did the financial dance. But this time there was no newspapers, no secret agent styled hand movements and most importantly no shame.
I believe the “big change” is that I grew up and my perception of sex has changed. Buying condoms is like buying anything else, it is important to get to know the options and select a brand which is suitable for you.

PROVOKING TIME BY COKE...

You have always been my first option,i have been having you since i was a kid ,if it were not you i would choose your cousins to quench my thirst .I usually wake up in the morning and watch the news ,this time i get to see a funny commercial that sincerely it has provoked my feelings.
I love every beautiful words used on this commercial about Africa ,the commercial amused me ,but it came to the provoking part...yes provoking i mean ,this is according to my opinion  don't get me wrong.
Coca Cola a billion reason to believe in Africa 2012 commercial yes,i love coke but somebody should explain to me what this commercial meant by this words "while the world worries about the future,"1 billion Africans are sharing coke" i know how you feel right now after trying to figure out what it meant.Do me a favor watch the video below carefully and try to think ,do this carefully cause you might find my feelings are wrong but i bet you will find me right.

the last sentences hope you have came across them while watching the commercial ,i hate the words ,does it mean while the world worries about the future ,Africans are busy drinking coke..shame and disgust ..we also think and get worried about the future..I know how a lot of people wished to comment on this ,and how they hate this commercial...ppssshh if they really want this advert to be loved by Africans they should change the phrase...
What do you take Africans of??hahahah, am not laughing cause its a laughing matter but am being sarcastic on this  ,us busy drinking coke while others worry about the world...

This ad treats Africans like children. Apparently everyone was born yesterday if Coca-Cola really expects them to think that a company with a net-income equal to the GDP of 28 African countries selling sugar-water to poor people is a good thing.
its just like the conversation below:
World: So Africa, whats your plan for the future? Development? Peace? Stability?
Africa: Just pass me that magical drink that makes me happy man! Stop with the questions already!!!! Hehe!

Maybe Coke figured that layered, clever ads would never be understood by the African demographic. Just put an old sage man singing with a choir of children(wow, that's new), throw in some Africans dancing to their own rhythm,(gee; that's groundbreaking) say something about African colour. (wow, never heard that one) This isn't saying anything on POSITIVE REALITIES it's just rehashing of cliched and trite cliches of the WESTERN NARRATIVE on what Africa is.  Stereotype i say..

MY SUNDAY SHAMELESS ENEMY..

Sunday night i decide to call my lads over at my place for few drinks and Nyama Choma (BBQ) while we watch Lebron James hit 3 pointers on Argentina's basket.I love Sundays ,its a day that i get time to be with friends after a long busy week searching for nyererez (cash).
We were enjoying the game , cracking jokes here and there ,reminding each other about the beautiful things in life ,nobody worried or having the fear that the enemy could arrive very soon...
while i was biting that chicken wing , Aybraham sipping code red mountain dew , Steve smiling and Simon getting chips from the pot,the enemy suddenly approaches .

OMG ...we all said it at once ,but some of my lads used offensive words later,we were all in shock ,Everyone one was silent..as if a 5 year old boy sneaking to watch a PG 18 movie..The ugly part is the Sunday enemy arrived at wrong timings ,times where Lebron passes the ball to Dwight Howard then aiming for a dunk,aaaaaaahhhhhhh....OMG..then the silence..
My thoughts took me far, thinking about our get together with the guyz and the enemy arrival what would they think of me??
"sasa buddah hiyo ni steamer aisee" eehh joh TANESCO...
wish you could have seen my expression,All i had to say was "relax guys let me check it might be the LUKU..
Our Sunday enemy is always the shameless power cuts that often burn my beautiful rice cooker ,shame shame a country like mine with everything but still we have power cuts,i hate the enemy more cause it tries to come across our fun ..
I think something should be done...aisee hii people ni nini fighting daily at the Parliament without progress, sasa i will be recording everything the power cuts bring me to a loss ,and i will compile that bill and post it to the specific ministry.
Few minutes there it comes, the Sunday shameless enemy hears our complain, but the power gets on while the match is over..making us miss Kobe ,Green and Bosh do there thing.
ppssshhh...

ARE YOU AN OLIVER?? (OLIVER TWIST)

I have a confession don't take it personal,Oliver Twist...probably we have all heard the song Oliver Twist by Dbanj and read the book written by Charles Dickens about  an orphan, Oliver Twist, who endures a miserable existence in a workhouse and then is placed with an undertaker. He escapes and travels to London where he meets the Artful Dodger, leader of a gang of juvenile pickpockets. Oliver is led to the lair of their elderly criminal trainer Fagin, naively unaware of their unlawful activities.
people love the song  by Dbanj cause of the rhythm and the good composed beats but mostly don't know the definition..

"Please, sir, I want some more." -Oliver Twist (page 16)
Do you get what i mean ,Oliver always wanted more  ,what did the African singer signed under Kanye Wests GOODLIFE mean??are those all he mentioned on the song Olivers? ,do you think all the artist he mentioned want more?or is it a diss song to some point ?who knows ?lets Talk about Oliver from the book maybe we can get a clue.
During his journey to London, Oliver encounters Jack Dawkins, a pickpocket more commonly known by the nickname the "Artful Dodger", although Oliver's innocent nature prevents him from recognising this hint that the boy may be dishonest. Dodger provides Oliver with a free meal and tells him of a gentleman in London who will "give him lodgings for nothing, and never ask for change". Grateful for the unexpected assistance, Oliver follows Dodger to the "old gentleman"'s residence. In this way, Oliver unwittingly falls in with an infamous Jewish criminal known as Fagin, the so-called gentleman of whom the Artful Dodger spoke. Ensnared, Oliver lives with Fagin and his gang of juvenile pickpockets in their lair at Saffron Hill for some time, unaware of their criminal occupations. He believes they make wallets and handkerchiefs.
Later, Oliver naĂŻvely goes out to "make handkerchiefs" because of no income coming in, with two of Fagin’s underlings: The Artful Dodger and a boy of a humorous nature named Charley Bates. Oliver realises too late that their real mission is to pick pockets. Dodger and Charley steal the handkerchief of an old gentleman named Mr. Brownlow, and promptly flee. When he finds his handkerchief missing, Mr. Brownlow turns round, sees Oliver, and pursues him. Others join the chase and Oliver is caught and taken before the magistrate. Curiously, Mr. Brownlow has second thoughts about the boy—he seems reluctant to believe he is a pickpocket. To the judge's evident disappointment, a bookstall holder who saw Dodger commit the crime clears Oliver, who, by now actually ill, faints in the courtroom. Mr. Brownlow takes Oliver home and, along with his housekeeper Mrs. Bedwin, cares for him.
Oliver stays with Mr. Brownlow, recovers rapidly, and blossoms from the unaccustomed kindness. His bliss, however, is interrupted when Fagin, fearing Oliver might "peach" on his criminal gang, decides that Oliver must be brought back to his hideout. When Mr. Brownlow sends Oliver out to pay for some books, one of the gang, a young girl named Nancy, whom Oliver had previously met at Fagin's, accosts him with help from her abusive lover, a brutal robber named Bill Sikes, and Oliver is quickly bundled back to Fagin's lair. The thieves take the five-pound note Mr. Brownlow had entrusted to him, and strip him of his fine new clothes. Oliver, dismayed, flees and attempts to call for police assistance, but is ruthlessly dragged back by the Dodger, Charley and Fagin. Nancy, however, is sympathetic towards Oliver and saves him from beatings by Fagin and Sikes.
In a renewed attempt to draw Oliver into a life of crime, Fagin forces him to participate in a burglary. Nancy reluctantly assists in recruiting him, all the while assuring the boy that she will help him if she can. Sikes, after threatening to kill him if he does not cooperate, sends Oliver through a small window and orders him to unlock the front door. The robbery goes wrong, however, and Oliver is shot and wounded in his left arm. After being abandoned by Sikes, the wounded Oliver ends up under the care of the people he was supposed to rob: Miss Rose and her guardian Mrs. Maylie .

My name is Oliver Twist and I am the age of twelve. My life began with the tragic death of my mother, minutes after I was born. At a young age, I was placed in a parish orphanage run by the strict Mrs. Mann. At the age of 10, the hono rable beadle, Mr. Bumble brought me to work and live at the workhouse with other boys of my age. One day, at the supper meal, the boys dared me to ask for more gruel. I made the mistake of going through with the dare, and the beadle offered out an award for anyone who would take me as an apprentice. One man named Mr. Sowerberry, a local coffin maker, offered to have me live and work at his house. The living conditions at his house was something terrible. His other apprentices treated me terribly and I ran away to London. There I joined a gang of men and boys, led by Fagin, who lived off of pickpocketing. After being convicted of stealing a man's belongings, which I didn't do, the kind Mr. Brownlow took me into his home. After suffering an illness in his home, I was mugged in the streets by one of Fagin's workers and forced to move back into Fagin's control. I was then forced to work for the evil Bill Sikes. I barely survived living with him. I was just resently saved and adopted by Mr. Brownlow. I'm looking forward to a long and happy life living with Mr. Brownlow .

I THINK I MAY BE MARRIED (A.ONYANGO)

We live in a world of endless possibilities. But some possibilities are so warped that even the people who thought up The TwilightZone would scratch their heads in puzzlement. My electronics store missus tells me that she recently lost “a friend” to a surprise relationship. What is a surprise relationship you may ask?
Well, as her story goes, she and this “friend” used to hang out all the time. They would go on fun outings, share intimate secrets about each other’s lives, cook together and take long reflective dusk walks. In the midst of their “friendly” bliss, she met his friend who made a move on her. They hooked up and as the English say, that was that. After this, her once close “friend” became distant. Gone were the intimate moments now replaced with un-replied messages and ignored phone calls.
Eventually when she confronted the lad about it, he told her that he liked her and when she hooked up with another guy (a friend no less) he could not bear to be a part of the triangle. She does not understand this and insists he get over it because she wants her friend back. According to her, if he liked her he should have made a move. You know, seeing as all the relationship stuff they were doing was not an actual move. Since he did not actually ask her out then all the dates they went on did not count.
In case anyone has been reading thus far, THIS IS WHAT “EMOTIONAL CASTRATION” IS! This heterosexual man who was showering her with attention had NO RIGHT to think this would be a prelude to anything more. In fact, if he was truly considerate, he would have taped down his manhood, pickled his grapes and gotten them the latest season of Desperate Housewives for a long platonic cuddle on the couch, right ladies?
I have said it once, and I will say it again. Women are confusing wild animals which should be tranquillized and locked away until they mature to look like Halle Berry. For anyone to assume that a red blooded male would put that much effort into a relationship platonically REALLY is a conundrum. Can men and women be “just friends”? Sure, when social electric fences like relation, marriage, contractual agreements and threat of religious retribution exist. In ALL other instances there is an aura of “lets shag” around them. Man and woman were designed for pair bonding…. PERIOD! Anyone who believes otherwise is deceiving themselves.
I told my electronics store missus to NEVER tell me things like that again. She has female friends for that type of thing. I know the emergence of the “Gay Best Friend” has really thrown a wrench in the male female social paradigm but when a woman unloads emotionally on a sexually viable man, what they are saying is the equivalent of sending greeting cards from romantic destinations signed “Wish you were here… SIKE!!!!”

BAJAJI IN TANZANIA (JAM SOLUTION)

1.Bajaj..3 wheeled cheese.

pppppiiiiii....drrrrruuhhhnngghh...hahahahah bajaj bajaji...we even call it tuk tuk...originates from India. Until the year 2010 Dar es Salaam had no room for the Indian Bajaji and or a tricycle to be used as a means of transporting passengers.
Today it is a common feature around Dar es Salaam.
The Indian Bajaji was allowed on the streets to ease the need for transport services in the city after it became clear that taxis couldn’t handle the increased number of passengers.
when i think of the traffic jam in my country Tanzania i used to get pissed ,but why get angry ..thanks to bajaj been helpful not only to me but plenty other citizens in my home town.

i had a chance to speak with Jumbe Ali ,a bajaj driver ,he says "many people prefer using bajaji cause its not very expensive and we can go to any location"

The famous Abel Manyanza ,he was recommended to me by a friend ,and later on i visited this site on the internet i came across him, Abel says "i make 20 thousands a day ($15) ,most of my clients are foreigners"
Abel is very knowledgeable about Dar-Es-Salaam, its streets, night life and everything in between. You can reach him at 0773-589879.

Rajabu says“The Bajaj consumes little fuel compared to a taxi.” “I usually use $4.45 fuel on my daily trips and still come up with a profit of US$9.55, that is a good business and am almost one year old in this trade.Rajabu is also a bajaji driver in Tanzania.

If you find yourself in and /or live in Dar-es-salaam and you need to run through the horrendous traffic jams, try using a Bajaj.

YOUNG AFRICAN MUSICIANS... TALENTED..

Camp Mulla is a Kenyan hip hop group originating from and based in Nairobi, Kenya.
The group has grown a big fanbase over a short period, already having over 30,000 fans on Facebook, over 25,000 followers on Twitter (more than any other successful Kenyan artist) and over 150 followers on SoundCloud.
The group is considered one of the most exciting upcoming music groups in Kenya, if not East Africa. However, many adults of the age of 30 and above have criticised their "bubblegum music", according to the Buzz feature on the Sunday Nation website.
During the 2012 Chaguo La Teeniez Awards held on 20 April 2012, Camp Mulla won the awards for "Teeniez' Group or Collabo" and "Teeniez' Nu Artist".
Camp Mulla were nominated in the 2012 BET Awards for the "Best International Act - Africa" category, becoming the first Kenyans to ever be nominated for a BET award in the process, alongside Lira, Mokobé and Ice Prince, but losing to eventual winners Sarkodie and Wizkid. However, they were denied United States visas to Los Angeles, California for the event due to having applied on short notice. They then decided to apply for a special case visa, which only applies to those travelling for medical reasons, political asylum or political administration appointments, citing "major awards show nomination" as their reason. They decided to go for an interview earlier than scheduled to give them more time before the awards. They were told that they could not interview before the scheduled date and could not therefore attend the awards.

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun a.k.a Wizkid is a talented singer, songwriter and performer. He kicked off his singing career at the early age of 11 when he recorded his first song with one of Nigeria’s celebrated music icons, OJB Jezreel. He went on to record a 7-track album, which he released in his church in Lagos, under the name of Lil’ Prinz; this was just a stint that earned him a remarkable deal of encouragement and recognition from family, his church and other artistes.
Years later in 2006, with a new stage name, and a passion for making music and God-given talent, Wizkid got back into the studio to hone his craft. He continued to develop as a Singer and Songwriter by working under some of Nigeria’s biggest Musical names such as OJB Jezreel, Naeto C, Ikechukwu and many others. Over the next few years his talent as a Singer and Songwriter became evident and it resulted in Wiz being prominently featured alongside some of the biggest Artistes in Nigeria’s Music Industry to much critical and commercial acclaim.

He went on to feature on Kel’s “Turn by Turn”, the Barcelos radio jingle and many other high profile projects. He also got signed to Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment, and featured prominently on Banky’s “The W Experience” album.

In 2010, he released his first singles, “Holla at your Boy”, “Gidi Girl” and “Ori Mi” with label mate, Skales; then there was the hit song, “Tease Me” which was just a studio freestyle that got leaked online and turned into a big hit in different parts of Nigeria and among Nigerians worldwide.
